I lost my Mother to COVID in November 2020.
COVID is much more to me than an intellectual discussion or a political argument about getting or not getting the vaccine. I lost my Mother to COVID in November 2020. She aged 20 years in the 10 days before her death in late November. Then, in early August 2021, I lost my lifelong friend, Brenda. It not only took her life, but she brought the disease to her mother who also passed away at 86. I was grateful to get the vaccine and got it at my earliest opportunity driving two hours each way to get it and I was grateful that I could.
