I had a pounding headache that no matter Tylenol or Ibuprofen you would take, it still wouldn’t make a dent in the pain that you felt. I was nauseous, sick to my stomach and vomiting. At this time, I’m not completely recovered. I still have no taste or smell, and that’s after a month of my diagnosis. I still do have that shortness of breath feeling and a dry cough. Unlike other diseases or common colds and flus, by far this was definitely the worst. With the headache that’s nonstop, the fever that wouldn’t break, not being able to breathe, having that feeling of somebody sitting on your chest, it’s not comparable to the common cold or flu. At times it would make me cry – that’s how much pain I was in.
I don’t think there’s an age limit on what and who can be affected…just because you’re in your mid-twenties doesn’t mean it’s not going to affect you.
