I lost my stepmom this past weekend. Her husband and three daughters and I will miss her deeply.

She had some underlying issues, COPD and diabetes to name a few. She elected not to get the vaccine.

She started to feel more and more tired, day after day, to the point she could not make it to her best friends funeral who died of COVID.

That night she went into the hospital, each day going down hill for three weeks trying to breathe. Her body just had enough. She died August 22, 2021. Her funeral will be on September 4, 2021, postponed because her sister is in the hospital and most of her family has it as well.
