I had COVID-induced Pneumonia and spent five days in the hospital.
I had COVID in August 2020. When I started symptoms, I was so sure I did not have COVID.
After testing positive, it was like getting hit against a brick wall. I would walk a little distance and lose my breath, and would lay back down on the bed.
After having Covid for a week, I noticed my breathing was getting harder. I had my son drive me to the ER. My oxygen was in the high 70’s.
I had COVID-induced Pneumonia and spent five days in the hospital. It was scary and lonely but thank God I had my phone to FaceTime loved ones and family.
To this day, I have residual effects of COVID with weak joints in my knees and ankles.
I did receive the Moderna vaccine and was against it at first, but then I thought about what I went through and do not want to do it all over again, God willing!
