I live in Bismarck and I am 32 years old. I have a wife and 3 kids. I caught COVID-19 in October 2020.
My Dad tested positive shortly before I did, and we had been around each other within the last couple weeks. The only symptoms I had is tiredness and loss of smell and taste. When I lost my smell and taste, I went and got tested. Knowing that I most likely had COVID, I went to our lake cabin to quarantine to prevent spreading it to my family. Nobody else in my family tested positive. After four days at the cabin, I finally got my test results back. It came back NEGATIVE! I couldn’t believe it. I started preparing to go back home, and two hours later, they called back and said they made a mistake and that I was positive. I finished my quarantine and went back home. I still didn’t have any other symptoms.
I can say that I haven’t felt like myself since I got COVID. I didn’t get my smell and taste back until June 2021. But, things smell and taste different.
